Most of Ookubb is completely free. The only paid feature is purchasing XP, which can be used to promote events, posts, or content on the Platform. This policy governs refunds for XP purchases only.
Payment for XP is processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not handle or store your payment credentials — refunds are issued back to your original payment method via Cashfree.

We will acknowledge within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 7–10 business days. Actual credit to your account depends on your bank or card issuer's processing times — typically 5–7 additional business days.
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to: suspend your account pending resolution, forfeit any remaining XP balance, and contest the chargeback with transaction evidence.
We strongly encourage you to contact us first — we will resolve genuine issues promptly. Chargebacks harm small independent projects significantly.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or equivalent consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may:
Ookubb charges only for XP purchases via Cashfree. If you were charged by anyone claiming to be Ookubb through any other means, that charge was not authorised by us. Report suspected fraud immediately to us and to cybercrime.gov.in (India) or your local cybercrime authority.
This policy may be updated if new paid features are introduced. Changes will be posted here with an updated date and will apply to purchases made after the change date. Pre-existing purchase terms are not retroactively changed.
